Wood Floor

Nothing gives a room such comfort as natural wood. Its color and texture look great in any interior.

Parquet board

The parquet board consists of three layers — bottom and middle — of coniferous wood, and the surface — of thin veneer of valuable wood species — beech, oak, walnut and others. This is a relatively inexpensive option for flooring, although some types, especially those decorated with expensive wood, can cost a lot. Its service life is up to 20 years, of course, with proper care. The parquet board is laid on a polyethylene backing using an adhesive and non-adhesive method. Both methods require special knowledge and skills.

It is a natural and sustainable floor covering with good thermal insulation properties. It is easy to take care of it, moreover, during operation, it can be slightly updated with the help of grinding — this is allowed once every several years.

Block parquet

The classic noble parquet looks expensive and solid. However, it is really not cheap. Block parquet is made from a single piece of wood, it consists of small dies, which makes it possible to use it in rooms with a complex layout. The type of parquet depends on the quality of the wood — the fewer chips, cavities and other flaws, the better and, therefore, more expensive. However, even imperfect wood gives the interior a special «rustic» charm and is often used by designers.

Parquet is very difficult to install, but at the same time durable. In theory, it can serve for decades. So that over time the parquet doesn’t lose its appearance, it needs to be looked after. Parquet is not waterproof, so it can only be washed with a damp cloth or a soft bristled brush. Once every few years, it is required to sand and re-coat with a special oil or varnish, and the oil coating must be renewed approximately once a year.

Solid board

Like parquet, the board is an absolutely environmentally friendly floor covering that will last you 30-40 years or even more. The board has good heat and sound insulation if laid on a plywood pad. It is easier to install a board than parquet, but this process still requires high professionalism. You need to care for a solid board in the same way as for a parquet.
